Partner

In Germany, a partner can only be someone who is entered in the partnership register in accordance with the PartG. This does not have to be a partner, as a shareholder; a position as a “non-affiliate partner” or “non-partner” is sufficient.

Essentially, these are so-called salary partners (also called fixed share partners), who may therefore bear the designation to the outside world. Mostly these are young professionals waiting for the appointment or those who do not (no longer) aspire to partner status.
